Admission to the History Concentration
Admission to the history Minor is less competitive than admission to the major or medial. History students must have a C- grade in a 100 level history course to be accepted into a history minor. Minors do take precedence over non-history students for admission to lecture courses (HIST 200-299).
All students who wish to pursue a degree in History must request a History plan and must be approved by the Department. Students are to request their plan at the end of first year. Application to the plan takes place in April/May of each year.
