All students who wish to pursue a Minor degree in History must request a History plan and must be approved by the Department. Students are to select their plan (concentration) at the end of first year. Application to the plan takes place in May of each year as part of the registration process on SOLUS.
To be admitted to the Minor in History, students must have a grade of at least C- (60% if taken prior to introduction of letter grades), in a 100 level history course. Minors do take precedence over non-history students for admission to lecture courses. History Minors take lectures (Hist 200-299) only.
