Oakwood Preschool Education Centre (Day Care)


Oakwood Preschool is owned and directly operated by the Corporation of the City of Kingston and provides licenced child care for infants, up to children 6 years of age. Full-time, part-time, before and after school care is available.

The goal of the child care program is to provide a safe and healthy environment for each child. The program meets the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of the developing child. Oakwood provides 2 snacks and a well balanced lunch each day.

26 total Oakwood will accommodate flexible scheduling within the given hours. Parents may request custom schedules (e.g. 3 half-days per week, 2 full days).
Schedule
Oakwood is open 6.30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Children who are withdrawn for the summer months must return to the waiting list for a position in the Fall. The centre is open year-round.
