Cataraqui Town Centre
Guest Services at the Cataraqui Town Centre offers their guests a large fleet of strollers, including double toddler and toddler/infant combination. This service is complimentary, and all that is required is to complete a waiver of liability.
Kingston Military Family Resource Centre
The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre is a registered non-profit, charitable organization that provides a variety of services to military and community families (see the website for a detailed list of programs). The centre offers a variety of parenting workshops and weekly parent and tot drop-ins. Family Resource Centre staff will answer questions and provide information over the phone from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drop-ins are welcome.
Lennox & Addington Resource Centre (LARC) – Resource Consultant Program
The Resource Consultant Program provides information, support and consultation services to families of children aged birth-12 years of age who face barriers to development. Support is comprehensive and is provided in a flexible manner that supports the principles of inclusion and the priorities of the families and is available in the home and/or in a community child care setting.
TALK: Telephone Aid Line Kingston
Telephone Aid Line Kingston (TALK) is a crisis, distress, befriending, and information phone line staffed entirely by volunteers who believe that listening makes a difference. TALK is dedicated to serving the Kingston community and beyond, and offers a completely confidential, anonymous, non-judgmental safe listening space. TALK is a safe place to call when you don't know where to turn and feel you need to talk.
