How to register

  1. Browse the Learning Catalogue for a workshop that is of interest to you, and select the title link.

    • Note: If the workshop is currently being offered, there will be a date beside the course description.

  2. A list of available dates will be shown. Select a session by clicking on the appropriate "Register" link.

  3. You will be redirected to the HR Training Administration System site, and asked to sign in. A valid Queen's NetID is required. Click the "Log in" link and enter your NetID and password when prompted.
    • Note: Departmental NetIDs that do not belong to an individual will not work, and neither will student NetIDs

  4. Fill out the form providing an account code if requested (some sessions do not require this).

  5. Click "Register Now" to submit your registration, or "Maybe Later" to cancel.

  6. You will receive an email stating that your registration has been accepted. If there is a change in the status of the session to which you have requested registration (e.g. cancellation, wait-listed) you will receive an automated email from the Training Administration System.

How to cancel a registration

Workshops are free if you attend, but if you cancel at the last minute or don't show up, a $50 no-show fee will be ?charged to your department.

  • If it is more than 24 hours before the start of the course, view your training history and cancel online by? following the instructions on the screen?
  • If it is less than 24 hours before the start of the course and the option to cancel is not available online, contact the Learning and Development Specialist

How do I register for a workshop or certificate?

 To register for a workshop:

  1. Go to the Human Resources website.
  2. Browse to the Employee Support home page.
  3. Select Learning and Development from the left side menu.
  4. Then select Learning catalogue​.
  5. A list of available dates will be shown. Select a session by clicking on the appropriate "Apply" or "Register" link.

How do I cancel a previous registration which I have already submitted?  

To cancel your registration for a workshop:

  1. Go to the Human Resources website.
  2. Browse to the Employee Support home page.
  3. Select Learning and Development from the left side menu.
  4. If it is far enough in advance (more than 24 hours) you will be able to cancel online by following the instructions on screen.
  5. If it is too close to the time of the course and the option to cancel is not available online, contact the appropriate department (see below) to review your options.

Will I receive a confirmation that I am selected to attend a workshop?

Yes, you will receive an email stating that your registration has been accepted. If there is a change in the status of the session to which you have requested registration (e.g cancellation, wait-listed, etc) you will receive an automated email from the Training Administration System.

How can I review my training history, or transcript?  

To review your transcript:

  1. Browse to the Employee Support and then to Learning and Development
  2. Click the link View Your Training History

Is there a charge for the workshops?

Most workshops are free if you attend, however, there are a few workshops that have a $50 registration fee. If there is a fee, it will be written in the workshop description.

 A $50 no-show fee will be charged to your department if you do not cancel in advance.
