Pension Self-Service Module Now Available

Active members of the Queen’s Pension Plan now have access to a powerful new on-line self-service tool.

The employee self-service (ESS) pension module is accessed through the MyHR single sign-on procedure: follow the “Self Service” link through to “Benefits” and “Benefits Summary” which now includes the clickable “Pension” link to the ESS module hosted externally by the Plan’s new administration consultant, Aon Hewitt.

A link to a “Self-Service Guide” is accessible from the main page of the module, and provides easy-to-use instructions on how to:

  • Review personal pension information;
  • Access copies of past annual statements and pension related information; and
  • Plan for retirement by running pension projections to specific retirement dates.

The module is the last significant milestone of an 18-month pension administration system replacement project with Aon Hewitt, a global provider of human resource services, and includes a number of both internal and external links to pension and retirement information. Lunch and Learn sessions are also planned, but in the meantime questions can be directed to HRPension@queensu.ca
