Pension Statements To Be Mailed In January

Annual active employee pension statements, which are usually delivered prior to the holiday break, are expected to be mailed to Plan members in January. The delay this year is due primarily to the transition to a new administration platform with pension consultant AonHewitt – Pension Services went live with the system in August and has been working with the consultant throughout the fall to fine-tune functionality, and while most outstanding technical issues have been resolved the reconciliation of active member data will unfortunately not be completed in time for a December delivery.

The good news is that the system implementation project is expected to be completed early in 2016, and will include for the first time a member self-serve module for pension calculations – additional details will be made available when the release date is finalized.
