Manage Positions

The course provides participants with an overview of the creation and maintenance of positions in the PeopleSoft system, and illustrates the links between positions and job data. Also covered is the process for creating and updating approved positions, dynamically updating an employee record when a position change is made, viewing position history, and generation of various position management reports.

The Manage Position course will demonstrate:

  • The Employee to Position Ratio (1:1) 
  • Position/Job Data Synchronization (Exception Override Report)

  • Establishing and Managing Positions
