  2. Does the wind-down of the OHIP limited emergency out of country travellers program have any impact on my out-of-country coverage?
    For Queen’s employees and retirees who are enrolled in the supplementary medical benefit, the wind-down of the OHIP limited emergency out-of-country travelers program has no impact.
     
  3. Where can I get more information about out-of-country emergency care coverage under the Queen’s insured benefits?

  4. I am a Queen’s employee and I do not have supplementary medical benefit under the Queen’s benefits policy.  What should I do to prepare for travel plans outside of Canada?
    For employees who are not enrolled in the supplementary medical benefit and are travelling abroad, it is important to understand your coverage available under a spouse/partner’s plan or buy private health insurance before leaving Ontario to cover any uninsured services that may be needed while travelling.
