Artist's Biography

Originally from British Columbia, Jennifer Sanders is a Fine Arts student at Queens University. She enjoys oil painting, sculpture, photography, silversmithing and many other creative arts. Her love for travel has brought her to many places in the world of which she now has the opportunity to do so with her husband and two daughters.

Artist's Statement

Denotes renewal and rejuvenation, the ability to bounce back from setbacks or disappointments, a transformation of spirituality. They stand for beauty and metamorphosis. It symbolizes the human soul. In Japan, the butterfly symbolizes young womanhood. Two butterflies dancing about one another symbolize marital happiness. In China, the butterfly symbolizes long life and beauty.
