The Purpose of this symposium would be to provide a neutral forum for a discussion among senior officials and experts about broad questions for the federation and strategic issues related to the renewal of the fiscal arrangements.
A series of broad strategic questions will be posed to help frame the symposium and the discussion will be facilitated by experts.
There will be 4 sessions over the course of a day and a half.

There will be a combination of formal presentations and backgrounders prepared to help guide the discussion.
Attendance will be by invitation and capped at 50 participants including presenters. The primary audience will be senior FPT intergovernmental and finance officials. The invitation list can be expanded to include senior officials from line departments as appropriate.
