The Institute of Intergovernmental Relations and The School of Policy Studies at Queen’s University are proud to announce a conference in honor of Tom Courchene at which we will celebrate his many contributions to Canadian public policy.
The Conference: The conference, which will take place on October 26 and 27, will explore a variety of themes on which Tom Courchene has worked, such as economic policy, social policy, federalism, aboriginal policy, and climate change.
The Banquet: On the evening of October 26, there will be a banquet and ceremony to honour tom. David Dodge, the Chancellor of Queen's University, will serve as master of ceremonies for the evening. A number of colleagues who have worked closely with Tom over the years, at Queen's and elsewhere, will offer tributes and, hopefully, some gentle roasting of our honouree.
