QNSA Aboriginal Awareness Week

To celebrate the annual Aboriginal Awareness Week, Queen's Native Student's Association has set up the following events (beginning March 17th) to offer insight into the culture. Everyone is welcome to attend these fun, (mostly) free educational sessions!

2014 Aboriginal Awareness Week Program

Monday 17th: 6pm-9pm - Women's Full Moon Ceremony at Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre. Open to ALL women. 

Tuesday 18th: 7pm-10pm Film Screening, "A Lesser Blessed" & director talk with Anita Doron. Place to be confirmed.  

Wednesday 19th: 7pm - 12am - Performance by A Tribe Called Red at the ARC Main gym. Tickets $18 at FDASC, Tricolour Outlet, Grad Club, or online at  

Thursday 20th: 4pm-5pm - Drum Day: Come Learn Traditional Drumming at the Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre

Saturday 22nd 10am-4pm - Celebration of Indigenous Arts, Culture and Dance in the ARC Main Gym.
