BRE Innovation Park Stakeholder Engagement Workshop

Nov 15 2012, 08:30am - 02:00pm

Earth Rangers Centre, Living City Campus at Kortright
9520 Pine Valley Drive, Woodbridge, Ontario

The Innovation Park model was developed by BRE in the UK to allow the construction industry to develop new innovative products and construction processes to meet the legislative and customer-driven Low Carbon Agenda. This workshop is the first stage in our industry interaction to design a program which suits the needs of the Canadian market.

The first of its kind in Canada, the Innovation Park will join the  BRE Innovation Park Network which aims to facilitate collaboration, research, partnerships and unlock export opportunities between countries and organizations with a focus on green building materials.

Queen's University will be represented by Dr. Mark Green (Civil Engineering, Queen's) and Dr. David Hyndman (Assistant Director, Industry Partnerships).
