Aaron Bains is a partner at Bay Street law firm, Aird & Berlis LLP. He practices corporate law with an emphasis on venture capital financing and domestic and international M&A. He advised emerging growth companies and investors on investment transactions and issues that technology and emerging companies face as they grow. In 2020 Aaron was recognized as a Precedent Setter by Precedent Magazine, an award granted to six young lawyers in Toronto and he was named as one of the 2020 Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada by the Canadian Lawyer Magazine. Most recently, Aaron was named as Man of the Year by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada in recognition of his fundraising in support of blood cancer research.
