The Queen's Innovation Connector is very excited to announce that Sidneyeve Matrix has joined its Executive Team. As a Queen's National Scholar in the Department of Film and Media, Sidneyeve brings valuable experience and perspectives to further QIC's pan-university mandate to support student entrepreneurs and innovators. Driven by Sidneyeve's internationally recognized expertise in innovative pedagogy, exciting collaborations with QIC are already underway to broaden the opportunities for students at Queen's to pursue entrepreneurship. 

Sidneyeve joins Greg Bavington, James McLellan, Eric LeBlanc, Kim Woodhouse and Elspeth Murray on the QIC Executive Team.

Sidneyeve Matrix

Sidneyeve Matrix is Associate Professor and Queen's National Scholar in the Department of Film and Media. She researches and teaches about digital communication, culture, commerce, and creativity. Sidneyeve's scholarship on tech-forward teaching and learning has been published in eLearning Papers, Issues and Trends in Educational Technology, The Journal of Pedagogic Development, The Journal of Global Literacies Technologies and Emerging Pedagogies. She teaches courses online and on campus in digital media theory, integrated marketing and communications, and design thinking. Sidneyeve’s educational technology design initiatives and research have been featured in University Affairs, Macleans, Academic Matters, Yahoo!, MSN.ca, The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail and elsewhere. Beyond campus, Sidneyeve consults for organizations and corporations seeking to recruit and engage young people.
