Opportunities for international engagement abound at Queen's.

Why not gain a fresh perspective by spending some time away from Queen’s in another country or region? Incorporating an international experience as part of your studies can help to broaden your viewpoint, both academically and culturally, and may open up new and unexpected opportunities that can extend long after graduation.

Queen’s students can choose from a variety of international opportunities – studying at our campus overseas, the Bader International Study Centre; going on exchange to one of our 175 partner universities whether for study or research; taking a Queen’s course abroad through Queen’s-Blyth Worldwide or a field study course offered by some departments at Queen’s; volunteering abroad with a student-run organization like the Queen’s Project for International Development or Queen’s Health Outreach - the possibilities for gaining international experience are numerous and diverse.

Some programs may allow for academic credit to be transferred back to your degree while others will provide a chance to develop cross-cultural skills and other competencies.

In all cases, planning and preparation will help you make the most of your experience. Queen's has extensive programs and policies in place to ensure that members of the Queen's community are well-informed and well-supported when travelling abroad on Queen's-sanctioned activities:
