Queen's scope and diversity grows with every student who leaves their home country to join this community, and with every student who extends their education beyond our borders.
Internship offers challenging, career-related work experience for bright, motivated university students. The Queen's Undergraduate Internship Program, formerly known as "The Experience Option", offers 12 to 16-month work terms for Queen's students after 2nd or 3rd year. The program is open to Engineering, Arts and Sciences, and Commerce students.
Following the third or fourth year of a degree program is normally the time to go on an internship. It is usually a period of work directly related to your field of study, where you do some work in return for some practical experience, and in some cases you can have your expenses covered.
Visit exhibitor booths where you can ask your questions about opportunities to study, work, volunteer, intern, travel, and/or teach English outside of Canada as well as find out about funding opportunities for your sojourn abroad.
The Global Internship Program (GIP) allows students and recent graduates to gain hands-on international experience related to their fields of study and experience. The program is open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. The internships vary in duration.
