Financing Your Exchange

Financial Obligations

  • Students pay tuition and activity fees to Queen’s University.

  • Students are personally responsible for:

    • Transportation to and from the partner university
    • Food and lodging at the partner university
    • Any additional travel undertaken while away
  • Students are encouraged to prepare a cost of living expense form

Financial Aid Programs

Queen’s students participating in a Queen’s University formal exchange, or studying at the Bader International Study Centre (BISC) are eligible to apply a variety of financial aid programs including:

  • Government student assistance (e.g. OSAP)
  • Exchange bursary/BISC bursary
  • Scholarships
  • Student Line of Credit
