Welcome Session for Returning BISC Students
This session welcomes second-year students who spent their first-year at the BISC into the Queen's community and introduces some of the on-campus services that are available. Of course, it will also be a great opportunity to reconnect with BISC friends! A variety of University representatives from the Faculty of Arts and Science, the International Programs Office, the Queen's Learning Commons and Health Counselling and Disability Services, and the student governments will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Arts and Science Exchange Student Academic Orientation Session
If you are an incoming international student who will be studying in the Faculty of Arts and Science - this session is for you! Come learn how to navigate your way through the many different academic departments in Arts & Science, how to add and drop courses, what to expect in your classes, how to contact your professors and learn about the role of teaching assistants in your courses. IPO staff and an Arts and Science faculty member will be available to answer questions and students will be given the opportunity to express any concerns or issues, as well as meet other exchange students in the Faculty of Arts and Science.

Development Studies 305 Cuban Culture and Society gives students the opportunity to learn in Havana from Cuban professors, artists, musicians and film-makers. This four-week, 6.0 units course is based at Queen's for two weeks  and Havana for two weeks during the month of May. Consider spending your next year of study in China, an emerging political and economic power and home to one of the world’s oldest and complex cultures. Come to an information session for undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines who may be interested in studying in the Chinese province of Jiangsu for up to a year. The Ontario/Jiangsu Exchange Program (OJS) is the latest in the suite of consortial exchange programs offered by the Ontario International Universities program. The presentation will be given by Dr. David Wood, who is the OJS Program Director, and IPO staff will also be on hand to answer questions. Fulbright Canada Scholarship Opportunities
Fulbright Canada runs a wide range of programs that support exceptional Canadian students and scholars who wish to study, do research, or lecture in the United States. Ms. Michelle Emond and Mr. Brad Hector from Fulbright Canada will be visiting Queen's to provide an information session for graduating students, graduate students, scholars and faculty who are interested in scholarship opportunities that are available through Fulbright Canada. Come to an information session for undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines who may be interested in studying in Germany for up to a year or engaging in the OBW Summer Research Program. Languages, Literatures and Cultures Semester in Shanghai (formerly the DEVS-Fudan program)
Looking for a change in perspective? Find out how you can study in Shanghai next fall as part of the Languages, Literatures and Cultures (LLCU) Semester Abroad Program in China. Take the Queen's University credit courses at Fudan University in Shanghai, China and be part of a living classroom as you also work in partnership with a Fudan student in field research practicum. Students from ALL departments are welcome to apply. Applications are due on Friday 1 March 2013 so make sure that you do not miss out on this unique international study experience.
