What is Exchange?
Exchange programs are established by formal agreements which enable students to study at another institution
Exchange opportunities may be available to you through your academic department(s), faculty, or the university broadly; some exchanges are available through arrangements with university consortia or external agencies
Exchange placements may be available for one (Fall or Winter) term, or for the full academic year
Students in good academic standing who have been nominated for exchange by their home university
Outgoing Queen's Students
Queen's Faculty of Arts and Science undergraduate students. Other faculties have their own programs (Find contact info...)
Students interested in a bilateral or consortial exchange apply in their second year of study to go on exchange in their third year of study
Students in good academic standing, with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.6 (NOTE: selected exchange partners require a minimum GPA of 3.0 so check the exchange partner profiles for clarification)
The Next Steps:
Research, research, research! Both incoming and outgoing students are encouraged to research their academic institution(s) of interest before submitting a formal application. Choosing the right school for you will help you make the most of your international experience!
International students interested in or currently attending Queen’s through a bilateral or consortial exchange should visit Incoming Students.
Queen’s students interested or currently involved in a bilateral or consortial exchange should visit Outgoing Students.
