You must ensure that your home university has a formal agreement with Queen's university. If not, you may be interested in pursuing the study abroad option and studying at Queen's as a visiting student.
If your school does have a formal agreement with Queen's, contact your home university's exchange and study abroad office for specific application details pertaining to your home university's requirements for the exchange program.
After you have been nominated to study at Queen's by your home university exchange office, detailed instructions and a link to an on-line application form will be sent to you directly from our University Admissions office by email. You will be instructed to complete the application form and submit the supporting documents to your home university exchange office to be sent directly to Queen's University. We do not accept direct applications from students.
All courses at Queen's University are taught in English. Students who are from countries where the language of instruction is not English will be required to provide proof of their competency in English with their exchange application. For more information about the test of facility of English that are accepted by Queen's, please consult the table on the Undergraduate Admissions website.
Applications for the Fall Term (September - December) 2013 and/or the Winter Term (January - April) 2014 are due at Queen's by 30 April 2013.
An earlier deadline for both terms allows Queen's to provide more course enrollment opportunities for incoming exchange students. Please let us know as soon as possible if you anticipate difficulties with this deadline. Details about the application process will be forwarded to your home university.
