Meeting with your Undergraduate Chair(s)
After students have been nominated for exchange, it is very important that they meet with their respective undergraduate chair(s). Here are some relevant points to keep in mind for your meetings:
- At this meeting, we recommend that students bring descriptions of the courses they want to take during their exchange, discuss transfer credit details and ensure that they will meet course requirements for admission to Honours and graduation.
- It is recommended that students get all transfer credit information in writing from their undergraduate chair.
- If students plan to take courses that fall within different departments, it is important that students meet with the undergraduate chairs for those departments.
- If courses change upon arrival to the host university, it is strongly recommended that students email or telephone the respective undergraduate chair to communicate these changes.
