|Full time course equivalent:||In order to be considered a Full Time International Student, UCA requires students to take a minimum of 12 credits. A regular UCA student takes 15-20 credits per semester.
1 UCA Credit is equivalent to 1 course hour per week (1 course hour = 45 minutes).
One Semester at UCA is 16 weeks of classes (except the Economic School that has 17 weeks).

Students must meet the “Intermediate Advanced” standard during the language placement test. If this standard is not met, Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) courses are offered prior to or during the study abroad period for a reduced fee. Some courses are offered in English through the Latin-American Studies Program.
At least Queen's SPAN 204/205 or equivalent required.
