To determine the employment success of recent graduates, the Ontario Universities Application Centre conducts annual graduate follow-up surveys on behalf of Ontario’s universities.
The first two figures reflect the percentage of 2009 graduates of bachelor’s and first professional degree programs who were employed 6 months and two years after graduation.
88.5% of Queen’s graduates were employed six months following graduation, compared to the provincial average of 87.5%. Two years after graduation, the employment rates were 92.8% for Queen’s and 93.1% for the provincial average.
As with the graduation rate, the six-month and two-year employment rates can be calculated on a program-by-program basis, as shown in the following figures.
Queen’s has provided students, graduates and employers a range of Career Services for more than 25 years.
