To determine the employment success of recent graduates, the Ontario Universities Application Centre conducts annual graduate follow-up surveys on behalf of Ontario’s universities. The most recent survey was conducted on the 2006 graduates of bachelor’s and first professional degree programs. The survey determined the employment status of 2006 graduates six months and two years following graduation for each of the universities in Ontario.
95.9% of Queen’s graduates are employed six months following graduation, compared to the provincial average of 94.1%. Two years after graduation, the employment rates are 97.5% for Queen’s and 95.7% for the provincial average.
As with the graduation rate, the six-month and two-year employment rates can be calculated on a program-by-program basis, as shown in the following figures. Survey results for programs with fewer than 4 survey responses designated with a “(<4)” in the figures.
Queen’s has provided students, graduates and employers a range of Career Services for more than 25 years.
