Graduation Rates

The Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities calculates graduation rates for each university in the Province.

The 2012 graduation rates shown in the first figure below reflect the percentage of first-year students in bachelor’s and first professional degree programs in 2003 who subsequently earned a degree in any program area from the same university between 2004 and 2010.

The 2011 graduation rates shown in the second figure below reflect the percentage of first-year students in bachelor’s and first professional degree programs in 2002 who subsequently earned a degree in any program area from the same university between 2003 and 2009.

The 2012 graduation rate at Queen’s is 92.2%, compared with a graduation rate average across all universities in Ontario of 81.0%. The 2011 graduation rate at Queen's is 90.8%, compared with a graduation rate average across all universities in Ontario of 79.7%.

On a program-by-program basis, the majority of degree programs at Queen’s have graduation rates well above the provincial average.
