Administrative Computing Steering Committee
The Administrative Computing Steering Committee's mandate is to make recommendations with respect to allocation and use of ITS resources in the support of the University's administrative computing systems. The Committee will primarily deal with recommendations regarding:
- Selection and priorities for systems development and enhancements
- Establishing and reviewing priority setting criteria
- Reviewing project progress
- Policy related to administrative systems issues
- Acquisition of hardware and software for the support of the administrative systems
- Allocation of resources to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of UIS and end-user computing.

The Information Technology Oversight Committee
The Information Technology Oversight Committee is responsible for overseeing the planning and approval of major IT developments, including:
- The provision of campus enterprise infrastructure including voice, video and data networks, web environment and communications infrastructure such as video conferencing, Email, calendaring, etc.;
- Instructional technology such as Learning Management Systems, Portfolio management systems, etc;
- Administrative system developments initiated for campus wide or local departmental needs;
- Information and information system security.
