Web Accessibility

 

Ensuring web content is accessible to everyone is something that all departments and faculties should be interested in accomplishing. ITServices is proud to help the Queen's community make web content more accessible by offering a website accessibility review service and a free online web accessibility course.

Getting Started

Eligibility:

  • All faculty, staff, and students can take the free web accessibility course within Moodle.
  • All departments and faculties can request an accessibility review of their website. For more information please visit the Web Content Review page.

 


Additional Information

To access the online course, log in to Moodle using your NetID and password. Look for the block called "ITServices Online Courses" on the Moodle home page, and click the link to "Web Accessibility". Note: the first time you go to this course, you will be asked to enrol in it.

 

We recommend all faculty, staff, and students review the new web accessibility course material to raise personal awareness pertaining to web accessibility. Ensuring web content is as accessible as possible today will make accessibility goals and milestones easier to reach in the future.
