Title:University Inernet link down Mar 1, 10:20PM *Update*

Full service to our Internet service provider was restored at 12:30AM this morning.

Failed equipment on a transit link between Kingston and Toronto caused the outage.

All services should be back to normal operation.

Previous Description (2014-03-01 22:26:46):

ITServices monitoring systems have identified a failure in one of the universities Internet providers.

ITServices staff are working with the ISP to determine the cause of the outage.

The second Internet link is currently operational with sufficient capacity for the current network needs.
