QShare Group Account Request Form

Group Accounts require a Group Sponsor, who will act as the contact for all dealings pertaining to the Group Account. The Group Sponsor may be asked to provide an account code. There are two types of Group Accounts described briefly below. For more details see the QShare Group Service Agreement found here.

Departmental Group Accounts:

Base Service
  • Departmental Groups are any Faculty or Department at Queens
  • 10GB file storage
  • Xythos Drive client, licence and software for Windows
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • Delegated Administrator training and support can be found here and must be read before requesting account.
Enhanced Service

Ad Hoc Group Accounts:

  • An Ad Hoc Group is any group that is not a direct part of a Department or Faculty at Queens
  • $100/annum service fee - includes 1 GB file storage
  • Additional file storage is available. For pricing information, please see the ITServices Service Fee page
  • Xythos Drive client, licence and software for Windows
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • Delegated Administrator training and support can be found here and must be read before requesting account.

To arrange a Needs Assessment for a QShare Group Account or to request additional storage for an existing Group Account please complete this form. The Customer Representative will contact you within two business days.

Please send a signed copy of the Group Account Service Level Agreement to Mark Fleming ITServices, Stauffer Library.
