Oracle Calendar

Our new email and calendaring service will be replacing the Oracle Calendar service. On May 12-13, 2012, all current Oracle Calendar data will be migrated to the new Exchange server. For this reason, no new Oracle Calendar accounts will be created as of May 1, 2012.

No new entries or changes should be make in Oracle Calendar after 5:00 pm on Friday, May 11. The database will be frozen at that time in order to facilitate the data migration over the weekend.

For more information about the calendar migration, please visit the Queen's Wiki.

Oracle Calendar is a scheduling and calendar tool that is used to facilitate the scheduling of people into meetings, appointments and other activities. Oracle Calendar can be used to maintain your personal calendar, or someone else's calendar, with the assigning of "designate" permissions. Meetings can be booked with anyone on campus who is using Oracle Calendar. Resources (i.e. meeting rooms) can also be booked through Oracle Calendar. It can book recurring meetings, group meetings, and remind you of upcoming events.

Resource agendas (meeting rooms, laptops etc.) can also be created and maintained.

Oracle Calendar can be used entirely through a web-browser, or through a desktop client (available through Ida).
