    Data Warehouses


    Data Warehouses store data from other systems such as the Student Information, Human Resources or Finance systems, to facilitate ad hoc query analysis and standard reporting. Two software tools are available to aid in query/reporting: BI Query (formerly GQL) and Oracle Discoverer.

    Getting Started

    Eligibility:

    • Faculty and staff after authorization from system stewards.

    Cost:

    • There is no cost for this service.

     

    Acquiring Access:

    • Persons requesting access must contact the system steward, sign privacy/confidentiality forms and get their NetID/password assigned by the system steward.


    Client Software:

    • You can download the Windows XP version of BI Query from Ida. Oracle Discoverer is a web-based tool.
