For many years, Information Technology Services has had the Departmental Computing Representative Program (DCRep) and the Departmental Telecommunications Representative Program (DTRep). As the technologies that these programs support move closer together, we recognized the need to amalgamate the two programs.
The ITServices Administrative Representative (ITAdmin Rep) program is intended to form a partnership between Information Technology Services (ITServices) and Queen's University's departments to facilitate the sharing of computing information. ITAdmin Reps serve as liaisons between their departments and Information Technology Services. They may also assist their department members with computer use issues.
ITServices encourages departments to appoint someone to act as ITAdmin Rep. Currently there are over 164 ITAdmin Reps, representing 141 departments on campus.
