Self Service Password Reset Tool in IDM


This service is for Students only.  To use the Password Reset Tool they must have completed the Challenge Questions and Alternate email address sections of the Identity Manager.

  1. Go to the Manage My Profile page 
    • Click on the Forgot your NetID password in the Student or Grad Student columns

  2. The NetID Self Service Password Reset page will open
    • Enter your Student Number
    • Enter your Date of Birth
    • Click the Continue button
  3. The NetID Self-Service Password Reset screen will open
    • Answer your Challenge Questions
    • Click the Continue button
  4. If you successfully answer the challenge questions you will see the Password Change screen
    • Enter your new password.
    • Confirm your new password by entering it again.
    • Click the Save Password & Continue button. 
  5. The Password Reset Complete screen will open 
    • Your password will be reset immediately 
    • A notification email will be sent to both your Queen's email address and your alternate email address if you registered on.
  6. You will receive email from the Queen's NetID Profile Manager
