Categorizing Meeting Related Emails in Outlook 2011

If you want to create a category for all your meeting related emails so that whenever an email comes in, it'll be automatically tagged pink or yellow, you can.

  1. Select Categorize on the ribbon
    on the ribbon, click category
    • Click Add new...
      add a new category
      • Name your new category "Meeting" or "Invites" or something similar
        name and color your category
        • Select Rules... from Tools
          tools menu, with rules selected
          • Click the + sign to add a new rule

            • Fill in the fields as the screen shot shows:
              add the fields this way: kind is meeting invite; kind is meeting response; categorize meeting
