Classroom Support

If you need immediate assistance in your classroom, please call 613-533-6666. 

The Classroom Support team supports for audio/visual technology in the centrally booked classrooms on Main and West campus. We focus on managing and maintaining learning spaces across campus. Using institutional resources, the primary objective of the Classroom Support team is maintaining a consistent teaching experience for faculty among classrooms.

The Classroom Support team has developed a set of standards for classroom technology and provides technical support, regular maintenance, and equipment updates. 

Additional Information

What you need:

  • If you will be presenting from a personal laptop you will need a VGA or HDMI video output depending on the location.

  • You may need to purchase a VGA or HDMI adapter

Cost:

  • Installed Equipment Support: No charge for authorized user problems. Please refer to our page on Service Fees for details.

Help & Support

Training:

  • Faculty can receive training on any classroom AV equipment that we supply or support so you can take care of many technical problems that occur in the classroom, minimizing delays and lost class time.
    An appointment can be made by contacting the ITSC at 36666 to receive training on the audio visual control systems in the classroom .
