Your NetID password is your key to many services available at Queen's. If you have forgotten your NetID password, no one can tell you what it is. However, you can reset your password.
Use the Self Service Password Reset Tool
All members of the Queen's community (students, faculty, staff and alumni) who have an active NetID have the option to create challenge questions, so if they forget their password they can reset it themselves.
If an alternate email address is provided, all password change notifications will be sent to that email address (as well as the Queen's email address) so the change information will be received, even if the Queen's email can't be accessed. Have ITServices Staff Reset your Password
If you have not created your challenge questions and have forgotten your password, here's how to get help.
Students, faculty and staff have the following options:
- Call the IT Support Centre at 613-533-6666 (off campus) or 36666 (on campus) for a password reset.
- Bring a Student Card or Faculty/Staff Card, plus additional photo ID to the Learning Commons IT Helpdesk, located on the main floor of Stauffer Library (Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., 1 - 4 p.m.)
Faculty and staff can also contact their ITAdmin Rep, who will submit a password reset request on their behalf.
Alumni can call the Alumni Contact Centre at 1.800.267.7837 (Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.), or email email@example.com for assistance.
