Self Service Password Reset Tool
This service is available to all members of the Queen's community (students, faculty, staff) who have an active NetID and have completed the Challenge Questions and provided an Alternate Email Address.
- Go to the NetID Self Service Password Reset page
- Choose your
Account Type from the dropdown menu
- Click the
Continue button
- If you are a Student:
- Enter your
NetID
- Enter your
Student Number
- Click the
Continue button
- If you are a Staff/Faculty member:
- Enter your
NetID
- Enter your
Staff
Number
- Click the
Continue button
- The NetID Self-Service Password Reset screen will open
- Answer your Challenge Questions
- Click the
Continue button
- If you successfully answer the challenge questions you will see the Password Change screen
- Enter your new password.
- Confirm your new password by entering it again.
- Click the Save Password & Continue button.
- The Password Reset Complete screen will open
- Your password will be reset immediately
- A notification email will be sent to both your Queen's email address and your alternate email address if you provided one.
- You will receive email from the Queen's NetID Profile Manager

- Students who are unable to reset their NetID password using the Self Service Password Reset Tool should contact the IT Support Centre by calling 613.533.6666 during regular business hours or by filling out the online help form.
- Staff and faculty who are unable to reset their NetID password using the Self Service Password Reset Tool should contact their ITAdmin Rep.
