Your NetID may not be activated. Most users will have already completed this step at some point. Simply visit https://netid.queensu.ca/idm/user/login.jsp and login. This will ensure your account is properly activated. It may take up to an hour for the account to complete its activation. So if it does not first connect, please be patient.
Also your NetID MUST end with @queensu.ca. For example usera would log in with usera@queensu.ca.

Not officially. Although you will likely have no issues getting it working through by selecting either EAP-PEAP/MSCHAPv2 or EAP-TTLS authentication.

No. Windows will automatically negotiate with the eduroam service in order to get you connected to the network.

Definitely. It is best to work out any kinks that you may encounter before leaving, and the service should work the exact same while you are on Queen's campus.
