You must have an activated netid to connect to the eduroam service. Most users will have already completed this step at some point. However as a precautionary measure you should go to https://eservices.queensu.ca/apps/mynetid/loginPage.do and login. This will ensure your account is properly activated.
It may take up to an hour for the account to complete its activation. So if it does not connect at first, please be patient.

You are connecting to the eduroam network. If this is the first time you have connected to eduroam it could take several minutes. Subsequent connections will be faster if you selected enable fast reconnect in step 7.
In the event that you receive an error message, it is likely you have just entered an incorrect netid or password. Please try again making sure to log in with your NetID@queensu.ca and password. If it continues to fail contact the support centre at 613-533-6666.
Dont't forget to disconnect from eduroam when you are finished.
