Changes to Queen's Email - Trash Will Be Emptied Automatically

 

Starting September 21, email messages in the Trash folder will be deleted automatically after they are 30 days old. This will assist in managing mail storage use. Unfortunately, no exemptions to this change are possible.

 

This change will apply to you if you use Queen's webmail. If you use an email client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook), it may also apply, depending on how your email client has been configured. To learn more about email configurations, please visit the ITServices website page on POP and IMAP email configurations.

 

This change means that you can no longer store messages in your Trash folder if you wish to refer to them at a later date. If you would like to learn more about managing folders in webmail, please refer to the following tutorials on the ITServices website:
