Planned network maintenance Saturday, August 19, 2017.

ITS will be performing network maintenance on Saturday, August 19 beginning at 12 am and lasting until approximately 4 am. This is a continuation of the maintenance that took place on August 13. 

How will this affect me?

This network maintenance will cause outages to various campus resources. You will be affected differently depending on if you are on or off campus during the maintenance window.

From approximately 1 am to 2 am during the maintenance window, off-campus services that use Queen's Single-Sign On (ex. OnQ, Concur and Faculty180) will be unavailable from both on-campus and off-campus locations. Office 365 will still be accessible from off-campus during the entire maintenance period.

At all other times during the maintenance window, the following conditions apply:

If you are on campus during the maintenance window

Access to resources that are not housed on campus WILL NOT be available. These resources include:

  • Office 365 (email, calendar, and OneDrive)
  • onQ

 Access to services that are physically housed on campus WILL BE available. These resources include:

  • SOLUS
  • MyQueen'sU
  • The main Queen's website

If you are off campus during the maintenance window

Access to services that are physically housed on campus WILL NOT be available, including:

  • SOLUS
  • MyQueen'sU
  • The main Queen's website

Access to services that are not housed on campus WILL BE available, including:

  • Office 365 (email, calendar, and OneDrive) 
  • onQ

After the maintenance is completed, users on campus will not experience any difference in the way they access services.
