Full-Time Summer Student Job Opportunities

ITServices is now accepting applications for the Summer Student Web Resource Program (SSWRP).

If you're a Queen's student looking for work this summer, you can gain valuable hands-on experience by assisting departments on campus in developing and maintaining their web presences.

You'll be working closely with clients to update web content or to help create entirely new websites, which may involve migrating existing websites to the current version of WebPublish. Last year’s students worked with the School of Graduate Studies, the Bader International Study Centre, and the Faculty of Education, among others, to launch brand new sites.

You will also work with web accessibility audit software, helping to ensure that Queen's websites are meeting current accessibility standards.

You should apply if you:

  • are proficient in HTML/CSS;
  • have previous experience with Drupal or another web CMS;
  • possess strong written and oral communication skills;
  • are creative; and
  • enjoy being part of a team.
