Mailing Lists: How to Schedule a Message for Future Delivery


  1. Go to the ITServices Mailing List Services web page 
  2. The Login screen will open 
    • Enter your List Owner email address
    • Enter the password you set to use with your mailing lists.  Note:  this is not your NetID password.
    • Click the Log In button
    • If you cannot remember the password you set click the link get a new LISTSERV password
  3. The List Management Dashboard will open.
    • From the Select List: from the drop down menu, select the list you want to send mail to
    • Click the link to your mailing list Home Page located on the right hand side

  4. The Home page for your mailing list will open 
    • From the Options menu select Post New Message

  5. The Send Message screen will open 
    • Click the Show Advanced button

  6. The Send Message Screen with the Advanced options will show 
    • Give your email a subject
    • Click the radio button beside Deliver at Following Time
    • From the Delivery Date:  field enter the date to send the email. Note you can click the calendar icon to open the calendar and choose your date
    • Enter the time you want the email to be sent
    • Compose your email
    • If you would like to receive a copy of the email click the check box
    • Click the Send Message button
    • Your email will be sent when scheduled.
