Do you get data from ITServices? If so, changes to your applications may be required
ITServices warehouses and publishes University data. Changes to how data looks and how it is managed are part of the PeopleSoft roll out. If your department relies on information published by ITServices for use in systems or services that your unit provides, then these changes may impact you.
Examples of Data Changes
- employee and student identification numbers will change from 7 to 8 digits
- department codes will be 10 digits long for Finance, Student and HR (and different than what is used in most subsystems today)
- course codes will change in format
- the Student system will have 3 terms, not 4
Impact of Data Changes
- LDAP and AD directory groups will change
- groups based on academic year standing or degree and program will change
