Configure Windows Vista to Connect to eduroam
- Ensure you have an activated NetID.
You must have an activated NetID to connect to the eduroam service. Most users will have already completed this step at some point. However as a precautionary measure you should go to https://netid.queensu.ca/self-service and login. This will ensure your account is properly activated. It may take up to an hour for the account to complete its activation. So if it does not first connect, please be patient. - Connect to Wireless Networks

- Then click Connect to a network .
- Select a Network
- Look for the "eduroam" network in the list of available networks and double click it.
- Log in as user
- You will be asked to enter additional information. Click Enter/select additional log on information .
- You must then enter your credentials.
- You MUST use your NetID followed by @queensu.ca (ex. user@queensu.ca).

- Something went wrong!
- In the event that you receive an error message, it is likely you have just entered an incorrect NetID or password. Please try again.
- If that doesn't work, please contact the IT Support Centre by calling 613.533.6666 during regular business hours or by filling out the online help form.
