Information Technology Services sessions are for Queen's faculty, staff and students, with priority being given to staff. A valid Queen's NetID is required to register for any given session.
Most of our workshops are free. However, there is a $75.00 charge if your register for a workshop and then do not attend the workshop and do not cancel your registration.
For workshops that require payment, at least 24 hours notice is required if a participant is not able to attend, otherwise the department or individual will be invoiced for the full workshop amount.
Payment for ITServices non-credit workshops must be received before the workshop begins. Payment options:
Arrangements will be made to allow payment to be accepted in the 15 minutes before the workshop begins.
NOTE: ITServices non-credit workshops are available only to faculty, staff, and students with an active Queen's University NetID.
Enrolment in each hands-on workshop is determined by the number of computers in each training lab. Maximum enrolment numbers are specified for each course. To be added to the waiting list for a course that is full, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Information Technology Services reserves the right to cancel a session due to insufficient registration. If cancelled, ITServices will notify registrants either by e-mail or phone.
Please provide 24 hours' notice of cancellation. If you need to cancel your registration, please remove the course from your registration system account. Follow these cancellation process instructions if you are having trouble. If you are unable to access the web, please email email@example.com or leave a voice message at ext. 75611.
Failure to cancel your registration will result in a $75.00 charge to your department.
