Queen's University - Utility Bar

Queen's University

Note:  The new portal became a full production service on March 22, 2011. As of that date, it is the only MyQueensU portal in production. Users still navigate to https://my.queensu.ca to log in.

MyQueensU Portal

The MyQueensU portal is your doorway to Queen's, letting you log in to one application to access content from multiple sites. It’s like one-stop shopping for your entire life at Queen’s, whether you’re faculty, staff, or student. Furthermore, each person’s experience of MyQueensU is unique because the apps they have access to is based on their role at Queen's, and every user has the option to tailor the site according to their needs and preferences.

Getting Started

Eligibility:

Students, faculty, and staff can access MyQueensU.

Logging In:

Access MyQueensU by visiting https://my.queensu.ca in a browser. The first page will display a login area where a valid NetID and password will need to be submitted.

Additional Information

MyQueensU is the gateway through which users access Queen's PeopleSoft administrative systems. It is also the entry point for SOLUS, the new Student Centre that replaces QCARD. Users will also be able to access other Queen's applications, such as webmail and Research Projects, through the portal.

The first time users log in to the new MyQueensU, they will land on a Welcome message which provides key information on the differences between the two portals, as well information on where to turn for documentation and support.

The new portal features a Palette page, which displays all of the apps a user has access to based on their role at Queen's. It functions as a "shopping cart" that users can review to decide which apps they wish to add to their Home page, which is customizable in both content and layout, making MyQueensU an experience that caters to the individual preferences of each user.
