Professional Development Opportunities
ITS has a number of programs available for the professional development of Queen's faculty, staff and students. Please view the linked pages below (or from the left navigation menu) for detailed information on the following offerings:
Hands-on, instructor-led training for WebPublish, a web content authoring tool for building websites. We also offer Moodle Course Development workshops suitable for those who have no prior experience using Moodle.
Workshops are normally scheduled in the Computer Lab in the Mackintosh-Corry Hall B176 Faculty & Staff Learning Facilities (FSLF). See below for registration information.
These instructor-led sessions are demonstration-oriented and scheduled in the Mackintosh-Corry B176 FSLF Lecture Theatre.
- Moodle - ITS has built two courses that are available to every member of the Queen's community who has an active NetID and password: Information Security Awareness Training and Web Accessibility.
All Workshops and Lectures are offered free of charge. However, participants are asked to register in advance. Please visit our Registration Process page for more information.
