If you connect to Queen's through an Internet Service Provider other than Queen's and wish to use any of the resources that are restricted to Queen's student, faculty or staff members, you may need to use a proxy to identify yourself. Some of these resources include library journals and the ExamBank.
Note: Prior to April 26, 2011, anyone with a NetID was able to use the Web Proxy service. If you are unable to log in and believe your account should be active, please submit a request to:
https://login.proxy.queensu.ca/public/issue.html.
The software package used for our proxy is called EZProxy, which is used by many universities. It is installed on the Queen's server and is accessed by entering the following URL: http://proxy.queensu.ca/.
After navigating to this address, you will be prompted for your Queen's NetID and password. Once this is completed successfully, you will be given the chance to enter the new address (URL) which you would like to visit through the proxy.
